Fork oil level

Evening chums, I'm waiting for my re-chromed stanchions back from Philpots and was wondering what level to set the fork fluid at. 38mm Cerianis with Gold emulators fitted. Keith in Scotland recommended 30mm above the emulator,but I will set the level with the forks off the bike.I really can't be arsed to fanny around once it's all back together so would like to get it right first time...if poss.  Cheers.Stuart

It's still 30mm above the emulator with the forks at full extension without springs, on or off the bike.
