I need to get a replacement log book, but not sure which frame number to quote. There are 2 lines of numbers on the headstock 'LAV 1000 RGS/1* 2587' (same number as engine) and underneath there is 'DGM 50736 OM'. Hopefully someone else on here has lost there log book and knows which number to use, or a fellow RGS owner can have a look at there log book - cheers guys

disagree, all dating certificates that I have done have the stars included and appear on the paperwork,
CLEM
no matter if they like it or not, that number is the identification. As it is on  the vehicle it should be exactly the same on the paperwork. If it differs it not accurate ID

DGM No ist the general registration No. of the bike type and between the stars thats the No of your bike which is 2587.
My RGS is i. e. 1967
