front brake caliper seals and dust cover

Hi All,
SFC 1000 std front brakes, Gold Line I took the calipers apart as one was leaking,
my question is : for each caliper, should the 2 dust covers be the same ?
the ones I removed have the same reference 20 2248 10, but are very different sizes,

looking at the more closley, ref could be 20 2246 10 with 38mm pistons,

Was the dust cover on the leaking piston larger than the other? Probably the long-term effect of brake fluid on the rubber.

It would be quite a stretch to fit either smaller or larger dust covers from another Brembo caliper type, they just wouldn't fit and stay put properly.

Yep, the dust seal on the leaking calliper was much bigger,
