I use Stabil for overwintering with UK 5% ethanol fuel. Works well. I also try and run the carbs dry by turning off fuel on the last half mile home to avoid the faff of draining float bowls.
Check that your Optimate takes the Odyssey up to 14.7v during charging to ensure full capacity and long life - I'm not familiar with that charger.
