Further intro, pics of new ride

#15786. May reinstall the top chain guard piece (excellent chrome condition), but I have my own ideas about chain maintenance which typically result in not a lot of excess lube being flung around. Just got the new silencers mounted and couldn’t decide whether to twist the clamps up out of the way or under and in, so they’re probably in just the wrong place at the moment. At some point I’ll probably start pushing the handling limits, but I’ll be riding easy for awhile to get the feel of the bike, scrub in my tires and so on. Paid $11,000 US, which I saw as a little bit of a premium, but it was only 300 miles from home and I could haul my trailer down and load it up. Plus he had all the spares. Another one in Oregon, my home state, (actually closer to me in fact) sold last fall on Bring a Trailer for around $10,750 including the buyers premium. I was going to see if the guy didn’t get his reserve and then make him an offer to avoid the auction fee, but he ended up getting what he wanted for it, and I lost out. My judgment was that the one I ended up with was more original and a bit nicer in certain ways. It’s gonna be fun to ride. Oozing with character!
From memory, my SF2 is 15832. 35mm forks. Probably late 73.

Looks like I lost my 750SF Badge - Typical F%X$'g Breganzie with a worn rear tire shit !

Gotta like that Bobbed rear fender with a Bates Tail light mounted on the Letter Box ;o)

What model Trumpet, Paul?

Gerald
It's Corinnes Street Twin. Bought in 2016 when it came out.
She does about 10 000 a year on it. Most are only used when the weather is fine to show off the owners latest fashionable attire.
Hers is the bike with the most km at the local Triumph dealer who sells hundreds of bikes a year.
