1976  3CL. I need right hand gear change lever and left hand rear brake lever and all components to connect to rear master cylinder. I can make the linkage.
Thanks JW

Are you getting rid of the rearsets JW?

If he is, it sounds .like they'd go for about AU$1500, Cam!! I use only the gear lever parts of the genuine Jota rearsets on my SF and SFQ. Bought the 2nd one a year or so ago from Wolfgang - he did say they are very rare. I made my own backing plates but that necessitates welding on threaded lugs into the triangle - much cheaper, but anathema to rivet calculators.

Cam, yes i think so if I want to keep riding. Either fit standard bars and brake/gear lever or sell the bike.

I sympathise. That's why I bought my Benelli Tre-K. It's way more comfortable than the Jota for my old bones. It has about double the horsepower too! I still enjoy the Jota on shorter rides, but the last long trip I did on it was a bit torturous for my buggered knee on the rearsets, and the low bars were hard on my wrists and hands. Not to mention the bastard of a seat.

If you decide on forward pegs and higher bars for the Jota. I'd suggest you keep the rearsets and Jota bars for the time when you do come to sell it.

I made a plate of alloy that mounts outside the rear set mount and allows me to lower the pegs by 30mm. That plate has 2 holes for the pegs std and 30mm lower, I was hoping it would be able to swop hights quick and easy, but it does take 30 minutes and I just don't bother. That plus a thickly padded seat opens my hip angle and makes my 3c much more comfortable on long days. My pegs do pivot and I can touch them down but it's only if I really try to drag a peg, unlikely on unknown bends.
