Gearbox bearing extraction

You need a cleaver between the bearing and the gear than a puller or alternatively, cut it off.

A bloke I know welded two "ears" opposite to each other to the outer bearing ring.
So we could support them and apply the press to the central part. That separated
the bearing and the spacer from the rest. Unfortunately I didn't make a photo.
 
Its out!
I did two sharp pieces of metal and press them together, it required some trial error and improvements, but finally it got separated enough to squeeze the extractor.
@Paul Marx thanks, however those pieces were initially too thick!
