I'll have to have another look at the GPX ND alternator. I'm sure it only has two wires.

I spin mine at 1.75x crank speed. Are you using original genny belt drive and ratio? Bit slow for an alternator.

I haven?t worked it out, but pulley size on alt is 1&3/4 inch
