Generator light 750 SF2

My new 1974 750SF2 has been rewired by the DPO - in general a pretty good job with all of the wires being labeled with little tabs. However the wire from the Bosche regulator to the generator light is missing - bulb and wire from the instruments are in place and the light is working.

The wiring diagram shows a wire running from the regulator - but I'm trying to figure out where it connects on the regulator? This is the original square bosche regulator as far as I can tell.

thanks barry

It's Bosch, no e.
Gen light comes off the 61 terminal on the regulator.

OK My regulator looks like this (scrapped from the web) I see the + line to the battery on one side and the DF, DX on the other - all visible on mine. Where is the 61 terminal?? I don't see any other connectors on mine - either screw or tab. This is hard to get to on my bike with the rewire and hoped not to have to.

Thanks all for the pointers.

Turns out the PO in rewiring the instrument panel, ran one side of the gen light to ground inside the pod and left the other dangling under the tank. Rather than having switched + on one side, and regulator D+ 61 on the other. Since the ground is inside the left instrument pod so I will need to open that up to fix this.

Any pointers in getting to the gen light in the instrument panel with minimum work - just remove the bottom chrome shield with the two screws?

There like the headlight 5lbs of crap in a 2lb can.
Yeah, I have it opened up and, and I can see he connected one neutral light wire to the neutral switch and the one of the Gen light leads together. Neutral light is working fine. *Sigh* with a few crimps already in the Pod from his re-wire, looking for the simplest way to fix without adding to the crap. I will also need to run one new wire.

Should have known trying to fix this would be a can of worms -Ah well getting close. All other electricals seem to be behaving themselves except the dash lights are wired to come on with the ignition switch rather than when lights are on. I'm hoping that will be a simple fix.

I don't have a wiring diagram for this - but there are a abunch of labels on much of it.

There's wiring diagrams in the Breganze 650/750 manual. You can download a pdf copy from the forum library.
I have those, the issue is that the bike has been rewired and the wire routes, distribution and wire colors are all different. The wiring diagrams are great as a reference, my problem is mapping from the original, to what is on the bike to make sure it is wired correctly as well as diagnose and fix problems.

So, after cracking open the instrument pod, I was able to fix this without changing anything in the pod. Took a bit of head scratching around what he did, but but a new wire from under the tank to the regulator and swap a connector under the tank and gen light is working now.l
thanks for all responses.
