They come in Orange as well.

No need to adjust your chain again...ever !
Could be useful although it would confuse me a bit when actually checking the chain for the correct tension , how do you know what the true slack is with that in place ?
Had my chains wear a groove through the frame cross member just aft of the gearbox sprocket which was eventually re - welded , despite pretty regular tension adjustment .With that in mind got a anti - wear kit , basically a piece of hard white nylon that bolted into place at that spot and acted as a runner .
Obtained this from a Laverda owner over in Essex somewhere , can`t remember his name , and it sort of worked , but as I said above , with it in place you`re not really able to check chain tension in the normal manner , so eventually I chucked it away .

I have that same nylon runner, I think he advertised in a Classic Bike test on a triple many years ago. It doesn't fit very well and I have made and replaced the nylon bit couple of times over the years, it's held by an alloy channel and bolts in behind the countershaft sprocket. It at least keeps the chain away from that frame member on my 3c. BTW I posted that chain adjuster gadget as a joke, stupidly complicated junk.

That fancy little tool does the same job as your finger when assessing how much slack you have in your chain, but I suppose in a more precise and repeatable way. Seems a bit like a solution looking for a problem.

This guy seems to think it's a good idea:

He says it`s a must have for your garage - not so sure about that .
Seeing as when chains start to wear they develop tight spots , placing this thing anywhere on the run would give a false reading , so you would have to search for the tight spot , then place this thing in that spot..... by the time you`ve done all that you could have just spun the wheel around to find the tight spot and adjusted it as normal anyway .
Why am I starting to think about the current fad for keyless ignition ?
