Genunzio Silvagni Birthday

Today is the 88th birthday of Genunzio Silvagni, one of the great factory team riders who made the Laverda name famous in the fifties, and to whom the firm owed much of its financial security in those early days.

Genunzio is still healthy and sharp as a tack, living in Forli not far from Pesaro where his great friend Primo Zanzani lived and set up his family firm tuning Motobi.

He is on Facebook, so if you have a minute please consider wishing him well - Laverda and our hobby owe a great deal to Genunzio Silvagni and his peers.
