Getting Old

Vince, I too had swollen ankles but got onto Magnesium tablets, must contain magnesium orotate.
swelling gone in the outer legs, now need something to increase swelling in the inner leg.
Magnesium Orotate is very good for the heart and vascular system.

I’m not sure all the stress and aggravation (and cost) outweighs the short period of elation gained when racing a bike and post-race from any ‘success’ achieved. However, because it is an addiction the equation is bound to be biased and rarely rational. 😉

Hey! Wasn’t this a really long thread? What happened to all the other posts? Or am I just getting old and mixing it up with something else?

Addiction - you are welcome to your opinion but not a word I would use.

getting old....... bloody hell. I opened the forum and the first post I looked at is a thread Clem originated. Next I looked at is a thread Jim Henderson (Helicopter Jim) originated. Both are missed.

before Jim Henderson passed he offered both Chris Beauchemin and I a 1929 BSA 500 Sloper project. Chris took Jim up on it, but earlier this summer passed the project on to me. Bike is totally disassembled, and I gather it was likely last on the road in 1954. I am hunting parts and info. Anyone here on this forum have any info or sources?
