Hi Guys,
im not sure if I am right here. I want to sell my beautiful LAVERDA Ghost 650 from 1999 (Build 1996).
I am offering my beautiful "650 Ghost" - one of the few Laverdas that is still on the streets - and in breathtaking condition, which has already attracted many enthusiastic glances!!! It was also often referred to as the little sister of the Ducati Monster.
The machine is second-hand to me. The first owner was my close friend, who owned it from 1999 to 2021 and for around 16,000km, so I have known his bike since day 1. However, it was only registered for the first 5 years (divorce story...). The rest of the time the Ghost was deregistered and was "stored" in a dry, professional and appropriate mothballed place.
When I bought it from my friend at the end of 2021, it was completely overhauled:
- Engine fitted with many new seals and bearings (but ran like a bell from the start)
- All fluids new (brake, clutch, engine, incl. filters)
- Spark plugs new
- Air filter new
- Chassis service front fork legs + rear shock absorbers completely overhauled
- Rims front and rear new bearings + repainted (Porsche white-gold 539)
- Both tires new (Conti RoadAttack 3)
- 2x brake discs new at the front (Braking Wave + pads)
- Heated grips from KOSO new
- LED indicators (e-number) front and rear + relay new
- LED taillight (same original look!)
- LED bulbs in the front headlight (Osram with e-number)
- Battery (Banner Bull) 19Ah new
- Handlebar end mirrors
(There are a few other accessories available and can be negotiated if necessary.)
The bike runs perfectly and starts reliably. An absolutely unique motorcycle with unbelievably good handling! I just had the technical-check (TÜV Germany) done now in September - of course without any defects

Why am I selling the Laverda?
I love the bike because I was able to ride it 20-25 years ago and I always wanted it.
Now I've finally got it, but I've realized that this type of motorcycle isn't for me because I've always ridden enduros and supermotos - which I really miss now. Since I've invested a lot of heart and soul into getting it back on the road, it's with a heavy heart that I'm giving it away and I'd be happy if it goes into loving hands!
