Hi Everyone this is my first time on here.
Any advice welcomed I'm looking for a Laverda Ghost ! any tips on what to look for as potential weak poins ? I've seen a 97' plate, low miles and in good general condition.In anticipation ,thanks. Ian

If the bike starts well and runs evenly , it should be fine - their electrics need a complete going over - there are other well documented issues with the engines but regular oil changes are very important - you may want to join this group which holds a lot of technical info on the Zane bikes https://groups.io/g/zanelist/topics

There are a couple of low mileage ghosts kicking around at the moment in pretty good condition. Andy Bartlett has recently recommissioned one that he says is in good condition and should make a good bike for someone.
