Ghosted

Yep can vouch for that as when we pulled into Crookwell we found the Coach sitting in the gutter and basically not himself. Basically a shadow of the man 👨 who we all know, turns out that he was on the New England the night before and had basically been ghosted 👻

We have tried to ply him over several nights with copious amounts of alcohol but we can certainly see he’s still hurt inside…

It is true, took a full day of riding on some great roads and the loss of his made in China battery for poor Paul to get over it....
Even then it still came up on conversation at the bar in Tallangatta.
Happened in Murrurundi I believe.....

I thought the loss of his battery and its subsequent discarding by the side of the road by the (What would I know ) battery expert may have jolted him out of it....
But no.

Not sure what was going on with these sidecovers
They lost their grommets, then got left by the road, then left outside the pub and finally spent the night outside someone's door....
And then finally found their grommets again..... amazing!

Wasn't their fault the MIC battery failed....

Not to sure what this thread is about and I will probably leave myself open to ridicule. Anyway I was on holiday earlier this year with the family mother in law and the wife's sisters and their families in Tenby, south Wales. We where staying in a very large 400 year old 3 storey house that had been divided into two. The doors interlinking the divided house had been locked.
As the house was large and old you might expect it to be drafty. One evening we where sat in the combined kitchen/lounge/dining room chatting. the 2 swinging doors where opening and closing by a fair amount unaided, the kids laughed and joked about a ghost. My son got his phone out to video it, the doors stopped moving, he put his phone away and they started to move again. Upstairs doors would slam during the day when nobody was up there, it was loud like somebody had took a good swing on the doors. My wife came down one morning and all of the shoes had been lined up with half the shoes set at right angles to the line of shoes. My son was in his room . the door opened and he expected his cousin to walk in, nobody did. On other occasions he couldn't get out of the room as the door wouldn't open and then it would. On some days in the adjoining half of the house it was like there was a herd of elephants running around yet nobody was staying there.
Yes you could explain most of this away, drafty old house. worn locks etc but there are two things which I couldn't. One night I was watching the footie on my phone. The game went into extra time and I was bursting for a piss. So I took the phone to the toilet and put it on a wide flat surface no where near the edge. I turned away and started to take a piss and the next thing I know the phone has clattered to the floor. How does that happen? On the day we were leaving 4 of us are stood in the kitchen talking and a cutlery drawer which was 2 foot wide, heavy wood construction and full of cutlery slid open 10 inches with nobody near it. My son closed it using both hands as it was not a modern soft close construction. We all saw it happen and just looked at each other. I was glad to leave that place.

I didn't notice myself because the bedroom that I stayed in was the first one you would come to but I was told that all of the bedrooms had bolts on the outside of the doors.

Not saying I believe in the paranormal but there are some things that I can't provide an explanation for. Definitely an unusual experience.

Ghosting:

Might have been 15 or more as a teen while water skiing on a single Cedar ski - left foot forward @ approx 60+mph digging a bay behind a 90Hp Mercury 6 Cly Marathon OB on a 13 footer when I hit a 13ft 400lb creasode Railway Tye.

Late summer afternoon after supper - The lake is a still mirror with camp fires and you got a local dare devil putting on a show.

Needless to say the Ski shattered and for the next 1/8 mile and I was cartwheeling on a mirror of clouds - It was like a pencil line I never drew.

I was knocked unconscious and awoke 30 feet under when I saw the light and floated to SEE my redemption that I only ride Motorcycles ;o)

If the doer of this thread intended it or not - I have him credit for me to tell stories in this forum !

Ghosting is a personal matter for me equated to why I raced !
