Goisern Classic hill climb 2025

Very wet conditions for the classic hill climb in Bad Goisern/Upper Austria. Bad results for me, but a lot of fun with my friends. Ciao, Gert

The uphill track in Bad Goisern is 7km long. There are two runs, which you should complete in the same time as possible. The smaller the time difference, the more likely you are to win. That wasn't easy, as the first run was on a wet track and very slippery asphalt, while the second run was on a nearly dry track, with only the hairpin bends and trough the forest still wet. I was much faster in the second run. Ciao, Gert

Those hill climbs usually have zero runoff as well. That must limit your right wrist a lot.

Yes, my Sulzbacher 1200SC was a bad choice for this event, but I love riding it. I should have taken the 250 Chott … Ciao, Gert
