Great Helmet Deal for Oz Locals

Ha, look at the top of the linked site. Its MCA, Motorcycle Assoriry Supermarket. There are 5 or 6 shops around Sydney and 3 in Melbourne, the prices are in Oz Dollars and it's advertising a 20% discount on Shoei helmets. The only issue is there are limited stocks of types and sizes. That's $200 off a thousand dollar helmet. Don't get me going on thousand dollar helmets that sell for way less everywhere else around the world, that's another issue.

I don't know what import taxes/duties would apply, in Oz, you'd need to check that out yourself, but this guy might be worth a look:

I bought a visor through him, saving 20% on UK prices, (here the import duty from Japan starts at ?136 and helmets/visors are zero VAT). He's a straightforward, old school, very helpful guy and I would recommend him.

Also need the AS/NZ standard s sticker here to race (and probably to be legal in a stack if you claim injury compensation). Introduced in about 1978 here and caught me out when I was racing. Scrutineers were onto it. Top shelf Snell approved didn't cut the mustard - and any old shit helmet could  get through AS/NZ ... like polycarbonate throwaways.
