Hello LF, could you say what's a reasonable price for this book? It came with an RGS1000 I sold a few years back and is now collecting dust in my garage. The pages are not falling out at all but the binding is delicate and could stand to be glued, cover and first couple pages are dog eared....see pics. Seems to have been printed in 1980 or so..

Reprint? Okay, got it, not quite toilet paper but will do in a covid pinch LOL!

If you're in the area of Branford CT drop me a line and it's yours.

I also have a copy of this edition up for grabs (I wouldn?t have piggybacked if you were in the uk)
The front cover is a bit faded but otherwise in good Nick.
I well over paid for it recently then bought the later edition, however if someone will make me an offer plus postage, the offer amount will go to Macmillan cancer support.

I also have a spare copy of Laverda Jota Performance Portfolio 1976-1985 excellent condition sent to me by the previous owner of my bike after I?d purchased the book, same deal, with proceeds to Macmillan

Regards
Geoff

if its a board cover front and rear of the green book then I am a buyer, (and just love your generosity to Macmillion) but if its just the flexible paperback type then I will stand aside.

Hi CLEM

it?s just the softcover version.
I have to admit it was the original owner of the jota portfolio book who suggested Macmillan, but given my recent personal experience I was more than happy to throw my surplus green book into the mix.

Geoff

you are right they are rare, I have only ever known one, and it was a very tatty, ex public library item, so maybe libraries get special copies? but for 100% sure it existed, and I haven't got one!

I can confirm its existence.
As van Gogh used to say "I've got one 'ere."

You can get an Electronic PDF copy of the "Green Book" for free at this link. Worked for me!!

that's the 1st edition - presume someone will pirate  the later ones - One of the reasons that it's not worth updating etc as the publishing/printing costs would never be recovered. did start to do my own 750 manual - but no point these days. - Regards - Phil

@gaps OP

I Put mine on eBay for ?36 plus postage and it was sold within minutes. I got what I paid for it which is more or less irrelevant as the funds are going to charity.
