Hello,
are there different versions (old "wide" frame - new frame)?
Or is that only relevant concerning the seats?

At least 2 types, with seats and tanks accordingly.

Early wide tanks have a different rear fixing system, with springs and hooks, later have the rubber band.  Twist-off fuel cap was phased out with the Grimeca brakes.  Not entirely sure, but I think the frame was narrowed before that, so twist-off cap can be on either wide or narrow tanks.

Yes to all the above. There are slim tanks with screw caps.
