Hi Folks,
After an enthusiastic reception at a recent Club Lav NSW run, Christiane has made another batch of Laverda beer mugs and ventured out into some espresso cups as well. The bodies are thrown on the pottery wheel. The handles are either extruded, shaped and fitted (beer mugs) or hand-built (espresso cups). The logos are press moulded from tank/fairing badges and then everything is hand painted with under-glaze and fired, before being glazed and fired a second time - all on the premises of the Bungendore House of Speed.
There's about 6-7 hours work in each one, so a bit of a labour of love and only for those who value the difference between hand built and factory produced.
She is asking a paypal payment of USD$60 each plus postage at cost to wherever you may be. One has already safely made its way to a very happy recipient in the US.
Please contact christiane at whitecreek dot net or message me here and I'll pass you along.
Cheers
