Just thought I’d share this- EBay blind bearing puller - cost me under £15 and was made for Laverda Primary cover needle bearings.
really nicely made, works a treat. I’ll try to ad a link but it’s listed as 9mm-23mm bearing puller ( these sizes are nominal as they are adjustable out to 30mm) .

I do admire the Aussie/ New Zealand ingenuity, I was watching a video of a guy who made his own drum brake skimming lathe- mostly from old stuff lying around, that would take a whole wheel! In the UK we have lost a lot of that hands on mentality and ability.

With no lathe, but a cheap mig, I just tack a nut to a bit of plate that fits in the bearing (with a through hole so the nut is on the back) and tack the plate into the needle rollers, a screw through the middle and any tube like thing, washer and nut pulls it straight out of the warmed side cover. Chucking the bearing out anyway.

I’ve a blind bearing puller set with slide hammer which I bought (probably cheap!) at an Autojumble. I forgot that I had it but stumbled across it just in time to use to pull some stuck brake pistons out of the caliper. It worked well.
