Has anyone got pix of Morphy Motors from back in the day?

What I find hysterically funny is that all those Laverda Legends all look like teenagers in those pics.
 
Bought my Guzzi new from Market Garage ,Tring in ‘92. I ordered it with gold mag wheels and when it arrived I was told I had to have wire wheels as it was the last one available. I can remember talking to the salesman and a customer had bought a kid in to the shop and was touching the bikes- salesman yells out “ Oi! It’s not a bloody crèche!” …soon got rid of them!

True story- mates sister came round to show me her new convertible , all dolled up to impress me. I lifted the bonnet and talked about engines for twenty minutes…🤔 Steve McQueen used to pick girlfriend up on an Indian with a sidecar “ it’s me or the bike!” She said..as he rode away!
 
allowances have to be made for the age and fading memories of the Slater brothers, who I am lucky to be friends with and very nearly their longest surviving Laverda customer, (anyone want to challenge that?) in the recent article on them in Classic Bke, when they were both interviewed and had lunch at the old Collington premises, by the very good grace of the current owners, it was stated that the very first Jotas was SILVER, several things in that interview clash with the interview given for the entry into Simon and Teds 50th anniverasarry ILOC book, but I wont go on, its just that someone will read a printed article and then swear blind that it must be correct, when the same (aged) people have said differnt things for print by different editors, on the same subject.

My missus still says I regularly abandon her for my second family - the world wide Laverda family. 😄
P.S. I couldn’t afford more women in my life if I want to keep all the bikes! But surely you already know that!
