Their website is down and phone number not working?

I’m after a black and silver 9” x 7” pressed metal plate, with shiny silver (not painted) alphanumerics for the ‘69 GT.

Where best to get such a plate made in the UK? Thanks.

I get stupidly small plates from eBay , they are not meant for road use but are a novelty item apparently. They are pressed alloy so the numbers are alloy, not painted. Got them on everthing now, don’t get hassle from police as they are generally waiting for a Chinese to be delivered or out in force at a fete that could turn nasty. I’m sure they do most sizes and you can specify layout.

I’ll have a look through eBay and see what I can find.

Ah, I see! Thanks for clarifying, it wasn't clear to me from the picture. The plate I have on (it got bent during transit, hence looking for a replacement) isn't mirror finish but it is what I'd describe as polished bare metal, or at least shiny! I'll check out the link.
 
After getting my Atlas with the massive sail, like a spinifer, of a UK plate on it, I now know why there is a demand for smaller plates in the UK. Ours in Oz are probably 1/3 of that size. The downfall of Oz plates is that unless you go nuts with at least 4 fixings, one in each corner, using big washers, they tend to crack and vibrate off. Yes, we are supposed to hand ours back in when required, but plenty don't, allegedly.

I mount mine onto a 2-3mm alu plate the same size as the number plate with four bolts, the top two also mounting to the bracket. Haven't had one break yet.

In the UK number plates are a hobby, big, small, flip up, reflective/ non reflective, retro and of course the really cool pre ‘73 Black/ silver that everyone wants. Front number plates haven’t been compulsory since some pedestrian caught one up the hoop but they’re not illegal as most people seem to think.Then you’ve got personal plates which can sell for thousands.
 
We have the same for very early plates; single-digit plates sell for millions of Dollars. How a texnicaly owned by the Government Plate with single diget can be sold to another individual? I don't understand.
