Headlamp Measurements

[Harry Lime]

I hear people talking about 200mm, 180mm and even 160mm Bosch headlamps. Having just snaffled a couple of headlamps off eBay, where are these measurements taken please? Across the glass? The total outside diameter of the rim?

[Laverdalothar]

Glas I would say...

[MarnixSFC]

Definitely the glass.

The (nominal) 180 headlights measure 185 across the glass and 200 across the chrome rim.

Dunno what the measurements of the 200 light are.

Cheers,
Cam

I think it's the reflector diametre...

The 200 is almost 230 across the rim.  It's a real bucket.
