Headlamp tubes

There was a thread on the ILOC forum where I advertised some for sale along with the dimensions. The opinion was they where not for a triple and probably not even a 750. The thread was deleted when the forum took on a new look so whatever was said was lost. The dimensions are 37mm ID at the rolled end (couldn't find the vernier so probably not the most accurate measurement), 44mm at the open end and 155mm long. The came with a load of of mixed parts so know idea what they are off. Any ideas?

Plenty of Lavs in Africa, they were for some brought back to Europe and even the UK by container load from Libya and Koweit. Quite a few in South Africa as well.

This is an international forum so it's not evident to all that Peterborough is in the UK. Many have never even heard of the place, where ever it might be.

So Lavs are all over the place, there are plenty of Peterborough's outside the UK and the earth isn't flat.
And Laverda didn't only make orange Jotas.

Together with Wolfgang Haerter I once sorted out the length of headlamp tubes for triples - this was the result:
1.) 1000 drum + Ceriani 35mm = 158mm
2.) 1000 disc + Ceriani 35mm = 147mm
3.) 1000 disc + Ceriani 38mm = 143 mm
4.) 1000/1200 + Marzocchi 38mm = 165mm

A local metal polisher I use only last week informed me that the earth is indeed flat and that the South pole does not exist. He also told me that Angela Merkel is Hitler's daughter and that all the female cast members of ' Friends ' are in fact men. As is the lady Prime minister of New Zealand. He went on to explain that the government are putting plastic in our salt and glass in our sugar for reasons unknown.
He is a very good polisher but has perhaps been at it too long.

I don't think that's what they meant when they told you "To stop swirl marks, it's best to use an eccentric polisher", Perry.
