Headlamp

This is the headlamp on the 750 GT as bought. As far as I can find out this is not the original one, but I'll use it.
Am I correct that the green light is for neutral and the red light is for the generator? Where is the blue light for?

Sorry, but the whole bike seems to be a right mess. Sure, anybody can mod his/her bike as they see fit, but that looks like a very half-arsed attempt to me. If any enjoyment is to be expected from the bike, the only proper thing to do would be tear it down and start from scratch. As it is, it looks like it would limp from one break-down to the next.

The headlight is a Lucas unit similar to those fitted to the final BSAs and Triumphs of the early 70's.

These are the original Lucas warning lights as fitted to Triumph and Norton, they would look more period correct, almost flush fit. The original Lucas on off light switches for are also available from Andover Norton and plenty others too. Search 750 Commando


BTW the retaining screw in the headlamp bezel should be on the underside, you might have to reinstall your headlamp lens if you flip it.
