G'Day Red,

I'm bringing over the SF2 that you see in my profile pic from Texas, after Scott picks it up and fits new tyres and fixes a couple of things on it for me - looking forward to hopefully meeting Scott in a few weeks time when over in the US.  There is also some spares that need to come with the bike, but these might go separate.  I'm getting my shipper to quote me for a wooden crate for the bike as I don't want to send it as part of a mixed load of tied down bikes for fear of damage, and want to see if the spares can go in with that, so thought there might be room for Cam's exhausts as well if he wants to.  If this does not work, then I will send the parts separate to the bike and consolidate with some of my family's books that they import as LCL.  I don't want to put my bike in with their shipment as it may cause them hassles at this end with quarantine and customs.

So, I'm not sure if I can help you or not, but am happy to if it makes sense to you....  You can always call me on 0416 045 142 all day or 02 9918 3395 in the evenings.  Are you back in Australia yet, last I read you were in Turkey?

Wooden crates are not good, unless you like attracting the attention of AQIS.

Fumigated wooden crates are fine if they have the correct certificate

noted on the shipments Yogi, is not for us, we have enough Laverda's, customer is looking to bring in a 750 twin.

we are in Manila at the moment, getting closer to home
Brisbane on Tuesday, my first time home in 6 1/2 months, been a long hitch this one
Looking forward to getting to grips with a crank or two

Red,

So, are you home for a while this time?  Travelling around the place with work can be wonderful at times, but sometimes you just want the opportunity to stop at home for a while, eh?

Yogi

plan is to stay this time nearly full time in Aussie
will still do the odd job but short term work only
4-5 weeks in Mongolia, stuff like that and only 1 or 2 jobs per year

be full time Laverda's from now on

Hi Yogi

Thanks for remembering the Honda exhaust pipes. I'd actually forgotten, so I haven't done anything further about it. Got enough projects on the go at the moment.
Rather than hassle Phil (shamrock) about it, I reckon I'll just buy a new set out of Europe (CMSNL) when I get around to fixing up the Honda. Last time I bought a bunch of stuff from them their shipping cost wasn't too bad.

Cheers,
Cam

Global marketing-speak. ROW = Rest Of World (EMEA = Europe/Middle East/Asia, there's a bunch more, most of which I've (thankfully) forgotten).

Ken

Actually EMEA = Europe/Middle East and Africa, not Asia.

Others around here are SEA = South East Asia, APAC = Asia PACific, ANZ aussies and losers on Sunday, APJ= Asia, Pacific and Japan, etc etc

Righto Drikko - time to ramp it up, Sunday will soon be here ...

Why was the Kiwi disappointed when he moved to Australia?    He thought a stock route was a daily event.

Hey Peppone,

Can you send me a PM with your mobile number and address?  Tried sending a couple of emails, but one bounced and the other hasn't seen a repsonse.

Thanks mate.

Yogi

mine, too. the only differences i can see are the label with made in Czech republic on it - easily removed, the SAE no is M83 instead of 73 and the word motorcycle to the right of TOP. lens is right and for the money  -  bargain
