Discovered a hole in carb body from accelerator pump screw hole.
I am hoping that this will seal up with screw inserted with a little help.
Has anyone experienced this?
I suspect the hole has been over drilled rather than it being wear from inside 🙏

Screw will seal it. They wear down the bottom where there is very little support at the sides of the round slides.

Could conceivably be due to corrosion. Screw will ultimately seal it, as Tippie says, but have a look at the bottom of the screw hole for the bad old grey fungus. Stainless screws would make it worse.
