Evening all, just to let you know (those that are interested!) all the trouble I had with the horns not working properly was down to the copper coated spring. Not sure how but I assume the spring is part of the circuit, so the replacement biro jobby wasn't up to it. Stuart
Power arrives at the base of the spring which in turn connects to the base of the button pin. When pushed, the pin connects to ground, completing the circuit.
