I guess I don't have to use the Forum and listen to all you ignorant idiots anymore. I will have some robo talking head with access to every dumb asshole in the world telling me the answers to all my problems...even the ones I don't know I have.
 
This dodgy document issue doesn't worry me anywhere like the other AI stuff now here and fast progressing. Copying someone's actual voice or image so you cannot tell it's been generated. Imagine getting a live-time phone call from your partner telling you some cock and bull story with a sinister end result, asking for financial access. That's an actual conversation in real-time, instant responses to your questions. The only way to tell is the sniff test, too good to be true or beyond their typical thought process. Criminals are pretty good at bullshit but add a perfect voice copy. At the moment you can see videos of media personalities doing stuff you know for sure they would never do. They're a bit poor as you can see the mouth movements are not sinked with the sound but it will get flawless soon enough. Video of a loved one doing something completely off the wall, praising some political candidate, saying racist stuff, doing porn of any type. Riding a Ducati even. The days of seeing and hearing is believing are over. It's the perfection of Fake news and that scares me rigid.

Just as well they knew less history than you. Electric was faster, earlier than petrol. Then range considerations struck when petrol cars could run for longer than a few minutes without attention.
