Marquez's biggest threat, IMHO, is Ogura. Ogura is in his second season with MotoGP, and he is a frontrunner and a 2026 GP winner on a relatively new team in MotoGP, Trackhouse.
An American team, Trackhouse, running an Aprilia (is that Kenny R I hear sobbing in the background) with a Japanese rider (it is Kenny sobbing, along with Freddie, Kevin, Wayne, and Nicky. Funny old world this 'global thing ', eh!
MM is a real 'Superman'.

He tests regularly with that team and is replacing their injured rider; contacts say they must replace an injured rider to maintain the 22-rider grid. Doing ok to just keep up at 40. BTW, I like the new expanded grid spacings. Hate to see the congestion mid-pack in turn 1 after a tight start. Gives everyone space to keep accelerating in tight starts.

While he maybe running away on the track, the points race for the championship is very close with five riders within 25 points and 11 races to go. It’s not over until it’s over and the musicians get paid!
