I hate Bleeding bleeding brakes

Spent all afternoon trying to bleed the new (old) caliper I got this week. As it is off a ZXR400 it has to be upside down and back to front to fit on the left side of a 750SF and I knew it had allways been a pig to do but anyway it turns out the master cylinder is the problem...

the new caliper came complete with all its hose and master cylinder so thought I could swap them over as well but you can see in the pic the hose/inlet from the new reservoir is a much bigger diameter. is it possible to change these over? I have removed the circlip on both but they don't seem to want to budge.

Just go to hardware with the 2 sizes of flexible tubing and ask for a tubing connector that's tapered on both sides so it will fit both hoses. Trim off excess length, zip tie if you think it's a good idea, and Robert's your mother's brother.

Typically those plastic fittings have a groove and O ring to seal.
As usual on Hydraulic fittings they get glued together with dried fluid.
If the OD is the same where they go into the M/C they should swap over.
Your risk removing them though....careful use of a heat gun helps...

Well, got that sorted - robbed the guts off the good one and put them in the one I want to use and it bled up good....

just about run out of jobs to do now - even received the new oil filter plate from Andy Wagner today.
