I'm just about to invest in a new ignition system and wondered what the consensus is on which is the best/robust system out there? It will initially be fitted to a relatively stock engine at first but the engine will be going for a holiday in Glasgow soon enough to get as much power as can be extracted from it but still be reliable. Your thoughts please.

if you are going to hot rod your engine later on than an Ignitech is the way to go
get a 4 channel unit, match it to a set of 3 x single pole Nology Pro-Fire coils, drive each coil on its own channel
we have all the required brackets in stock, CNC billet alloy mount straight in the headstock area
works great

you have a Series 1 engine don't you ?

Yes series 1 engine already bought and mounted dyna mini coils, is that going to be an issue? also cant mount them in head stock area as that being kept clean.

well you have sold off everything else you have bought for Jenny, may as well sell the Dyna mini coils as well, or at least sell the dual coil and buy 2 more single pole coils

this choice of ignitions should be left up to Keith anyway if you are getting him to build the engine, you should be discussing it with him

for a Series 1 engine I would always recommend one of our Redax/Sachse/Ignitech systems as you get the upgraded 300 watt 3 phase charging system thrown in for free  :D
