Ignitec users in US?

Are there any Ignitec users in the US? Or  does anyone want one? ...group buy???
The reason I ask is that the shipping adds 1/3 to the cost making a very cost effective unit just cost effective. I should try to find out how many can be shipped for the lowly sum of $54

Prices quoted
unit TCIP4 standard                      145 USD
connector adapter                        5 USD
USB/COM cable                          16 USD - Id guess its easier to get one locally

Bill, what do you get for $145? If it's a control box and pickups what do people do for a stator plate? And what do you do for an alternator on a Series 1 engine? I'm in the US but I'm using a Redax/Sachse system, but it came with stator plate and alternator, and was really a turnkey solution. I just don't know if an Ignitech system is viable unless you have access to a machine shop, if you have to pay someone else to do the engineering the savings will disappear real fast.

if you ask Ignitech for a box that handles the pick up signal for a Hall Effect trigger then you can use a set of Sachse ignition triggers and a Redax alternator conversion and an Ignitech box and have the best of both worlds
Cam sorted that system out

Doesn't replace aged ignition triggers and aged wiring.

Or aged conrods, worn Dellortos, tired pistons/rings but does provide lots of sparks when you want them.

If you have a BTZ-ignition at the moment, the TCIP4 ignition box is all you need. Just plug and play?

yes, correct, but you don't get the alternator upgrade and to get that you need to change to Hall Effect triggers due to space restraints

With Nippon Denso I don't need one. N D alternator is actually surprisingly powerful. If I ride without headlight (which I never do) the voltage gets over 15,20V. With headlight on + all the accessories I have, it?s somewhere between 13,2V and 15,2V (Sparkbright voltage monitor). I never had a problem with charging.

No pickups included just the box for $145 - although it seems Ignitec sells some pick ups - I'd guess they wouldn't fit. I have a Series 2 so I would just use existing pick ups and alternator.
Machine shop - yup, got one.
