Had mine fitted for well over ten years without any problems. Admire the simplicity, no other electrical components within the engine confines.

Couple of Meccicans been runnin optical sacshe combos for ten plus years Tezz, no problemo  8)

Yep the Sachse ignitions certainly send a spark to the plugs when the ignition turns on  I reckon if my red 3C was down on compression it would start.

I  had a high speed mifire and then failure on my Series 1 Jota fitted with sachse  and optical pickups by Keith...to whom it went back in a van and had hall effect type fitted a few years ago.no problems since...
