IIS crank rotors

Evening all,
Can anyone tell me if the IIS ignition were further developed, after I got mine, to include a hexagon on the end in order to turn the crank?
Mine had a nut type adaptor which I would attach when needed, which I have now managed to lose in a house move,
I will have to make something similar but before I do, I thought I’d ask just in case there was an updated one,

I was working on a mate's bike who had one of these and I just machined a hex into it. Makes life much easier. Any capable machine shop would be able to do it for you.

The two diametrically positioned holes are probably there so that you can use a pin spanner to turn it.

Its the bit I had that you attach to be able to use a spanner to turn the crank I have lost.
OK, so I could take the rotor off and get it machined to take a socket, not being an engineer, I didn’t think of that, that looks a very neat option. Machining won’t damage the magnet will it?
Or just remake the missing bit, thanks all,
 
The two holes are tapped, so not for a pin spanner. Attachment of an adaptor for a socket by the sounds of it.
The magnet is down the other end, so didn't get near the hex I cut. Still working fine so far.
 
Hello boys and girls, still playing with Laverda toys...... the impulse rotor, missing drive attachment, you can fabricate a useful drive "bar" out of say 6m/m or similar square section bar, or scrap steel. Drill two M5 clearance holes to match the impulse rotor M5 tapped holes/spacing, bar just has to rest on the main cap head bolt when tightened, use a non specific spanner, ie shift wrench to engage the rotation of the crank shaft proper, hope that helps....j
