I'm looking for images of the 750s from catalogs from the early 70s.

I am filing for my 750 SF to be registered in the Italian Historical Register and the Inspector raised an exception regarding the aesthetic finish of the tank.
He is asking for documentation that proves the originality of the application of the horizontal stripe on the tank; make reference to the following picture of my Laverda 750 SF.

I'm looking for images from catalogues, magazines or other documents from the early 70s that demonstrate that Laverda was already applying this decoration at the time.

And I thought Austrian inspectors were tough 😲.
I got a remark that a right hand mirror was missing on my 1976 3CL during the registration inspection - totally unnecessary, however, a quick fix.
Good luck with the research.
 
The 'Green Book' can be considered a definitive and long-standing document in Laverda circles. Have a look the 'Definitions' section and the first pic shows an S with a tank stipe from 1970

(I won't post a pic here now - maybe copyright would be infringed - need advice from admins).

Great idea. I do not have the book, can you send me a copy of just one page with a picture of the 750 with a horizontal stripe applied on the tank?

Folks, a great update on the status of my request.
The italian Hystoric Register approved my request and now my Laverda 750 SF 1971 has been registered as hystoric motorcycle.
Thank you very much to who helped me to find evidences of the horizontal strip on the tank as per original Laverda’s specifications.
