Paulo Ferrati must be a special Brettoni customer... on hand here on Sunday morning to assist with oil leak repair to revcounter drive.

Also bought an exhaust system for my TT1 replica which fractured and nearly had me off as I ran over the can with the back wheel. Not recommended! PXL_20210912_073556778.jpg
 
Plenty going on... lots of famous old racers to test your memory with. Embarrassed to not know I was talking to Alex George on Friday night. 🙄

Good to see Giovanni Laverda who had secured Marco Luccinelli's signature on a print of him in action on a a factory spaceframe back in 1975.

Sad to report that the TT1's underslung brake torque arm prevented the replacement exhaust being used, so blew the dust off the SFC for a rude awakening after its last outing a couple of years ago. PXL_20210912_095139184.jpgPXL_20210912_102250858.jpg

You mean to say you were not carrying a pop riveter and cordless drill. Did Nicky pack the kitchen sink ?
Now how about a fibre glass kit , might have worked.

Am I seeing things, or is the frame tube above the velocity stack halved in cross-section?
 
Good job you didn’t have to buy any parts to fix the bike from your new friend ‘Red Rocket Racing’ George (he’s not normally so shy at telling people who he is) as from my experience you wouldn’t have just had to mortgage your house but the next door neighbour’s as well. 😂

Paolo Ferrati joined me for the start line photo with his Brettoni big bore SFC, along with a couple of Ducatis from Luxembourg ridden by Michael Mossal (16) and Martin Halliwell (45).
A sharp eyed photographer at Tosa caught the broken exhaust before I ran over the dragging end can on the exit to Piratella. Hence using the SFC on Sunday...
