Imported Jota

Hi Guys.
I am about to undertake submitting a v55/5 application to register my imported 1983 Jota from Holland.

The speedo is in KPH.

I understand this could potentially be a problem?

I know  I can get a new clock face for this and attempt to install into the speedo but has anyone got a MPH unit they would sell me or suggest if this will be an issue on registration?

Highly unlikely to be a problem.
You could buy stickers and put them at the key speeds on the speedo (like 30 and 70mph).
I did this on a Laverda when I brought it to the UK but it was never an issue.

I agree with Grant, I have registered quite a few bikes and it's never been a problem, in fact I've never had a bike inspected yet apart from the during MOT.

I had one inspected but all he wanted to check was frame number.

You just have to convert your KM mileage into miles as the V55/5 box only accepts miles.
