Indicator Circuit

Both front indicators work correctly along with the warning lights however the rear indicators BOTH come on faintly when switched. I’ve fettled around the wiring without any joy. Has anyone any suggestions please? It’s a 1980 1200 btw.

Generally an earthing issue as Piet says ,but I once had a similar issue after fitting a new indicator,took me a while to work out it was fitted with a 6V bulb!!

I seem to remember needing to add an extra wire from the plastic chromed blinker body to where they mounted some time in the past.

Just had same problem continuity check on indicators for good earth.
