I got my head & valves ground. I took the valves into the machine shop in separate bags w/ notes on their location. Just to make sure they did not get mixed up how do you tell the difference from the intakes & outtake valves?

That induces leaky valves.

In this case more of a decompression valve.

By the way - when we were young, we watched the first TV program "Rockpalast" with several friends at night in 1977, in which the brilliant Rory Gallagher also appeared. At around 2 a.m., my friend Jürgen wanted to test whether a fart really burns.

The jet of flame was impressive, and the result was a shaved butt. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try it again.

I had a Harley riding acquaintance back in the 70s who played that game as well.
That was the first time I rode a Harley, a full dress Electraglide on icy and snowy roads to go in to town to fetch a throttle cable for my 750 Honda which had broken on the way to the friend's place.

Don't hear Rory Gallagher mentioned very often, a very talented guitarist and singer. I can remember going up to Belfast in the late 70's to hear him in the Ulster Hall and it was filled to capacity. A few weeks later we were back again to hear a new band up from Dublin. The hall wasn't even half filled and the band was called U2.
