Is Jota positive or negative earth?

I am currently restoring a Jota (or more acurately a Joterised Jarama and have a very basic question. Is it negative or positive earth?

Many thanks for all your help. Connected up the battery, put some fuel in the tank and checked the oil level. Started in 30 seconds after sitting in garage for 20 years. Which leads to my next question, do anyone know the standard quantity of oil required for a change?

For an empty sump, including the oil filter, it's approx. 3 litres.
I usually add 2.5 litres and go from there, adding small quantities as necessary.

FYI, the oil level is checked by allowing the dipstick to 'hang loose' vertically - do not screw it in to check the level! (and apologies if I'm stating the obvious)

No you are stating the obvious as I was wondering myself about the dipstick. Many thanks for you help. Going to put new plugs in, change the oil, free up the brakes and take it for a spin. Fingers crossed

"free up the brakes"? After 20 years of standstill?

I wouldn't even venture out my driveway without a prior strip-down and total overhaul of the entire braking system, along with fresh fluid.

Brembo brake systems are notorious for their tendency to internal decay. After 20 years the seals will be marginal at best and a fair bit of corrosion is to be expected.
