Luckily.
Very dubious French. Only two frames built for the Laverda 1000 twin. One can understand why.
A few nice looking bits.
Abadal would seem to have been a Catalan car manufacturer.

The Atlas has a square tube frame in some areas but is not as industrial appearance as the ISR.

Didn't the Ducati Paso have square section frame tubes?

Ducati Paso also used square section tube for the frame.

Weight for weight, cylindrical tube is stronger than square. But my comment about structural integrity was more to do with the frame geometry. Having one frame tube terminate halfway along another in a T-joint without any bracing is not the best structural design.

On the technical section I've mentioned Hejira in the thread on hub centred bikes. They also used steel 'box' sections on some of their frames. http://hejiraracing.co.uk
Their stuff definitely worked.
