It's a long shot but....

Hi
I'm trying to sort my Harris and want to fit a seat as close to this as I can as the lines and general form are just what I'm looking for. I've tried a few suppliers and am not getting anywhere so am hoping someone on here might be able to help. I appreciate that it's a special of some sort and that I'll have to put a fair amount of work in but need something to use as a base.
Any help or guidance very gratefully received
Many thanks
Simon

At least the hump part looks like it may be based on a late '90s Aprilia RS250, difficult to judge the actual size though.

Have a chat with Grant Duguid - he restored the bike in the pics in its current guise, so may be able to help.
Send me a PM if you need his contact details.

RS250 is similar but as Cosi says, the one on the Harris seems more slender - maybe it started out as RS125? Obviously it has been modified at the front to blend into the tank / frame. Maybe the entire shape was slimmed down to better blend with the rest of it - a nice job whatever it is/was.
Here is a mostly standard 250 one on a Spondon for comparison:

Thanks Alan, I managed to find Grant through FB. He didn't make the seat but confirmed it was based on an RS125 so I'm a bit closer.

Thanks, I think it's actually based on an RS125 so pretty close. I'll have to see what fits best.

Thanks, I think you're right about the RS125 but that 250 also looks pretty good.
