Jota battery earth strap

Just bought a 1979 Jota. Can anyone tell me where the battery earth strap should be attached to the frame?

Either tool compartent mount or airbox mount should work. Depends on the lenght of the earth strap and the orientation of your battery. I have used the airbox mount and have no problems.

Welding cable grade from battery negative terminal to starter motor mount bolt, under the starter motor can be done, with a right angle lug. HTH j

Highly recommended especially if the frame has been powder coated, as well as a cable onto to the frame.
