Fair price paid for a starter in reasonable condition. Does not have to be perfect, as long as its not turned to ash inside like my one.

Tom, see if Ribblesdale Auto Electrics in Preston can help you? I have sent a few people there with Laverda dynamo issues and Ribblesdale sorted them out; might be worth a try for your crumbling starter motor?

Hi Tom, Ribblesdale Auto have been in existence since the last ice sheet receded and they are very knowledgeable about starters, dynamo's and alternator's. I know that they repair vintage units so maybe they can help you, if they can repair it you'll received in back- 'Bob on'; if they can help you then I'd be interested to know.

Not sure if you got my message about me leaving Exeter this morning at about 10.00am. It may not have sent properly from my phone . If you were able to let me know whether you had one by about 10.00am then i could potentially collect it from you this morning. That may not be possible for you and if it’s not I understand and that’s fine !
