Peder - exactly what i have been looking for - sadly you are quite the way away

Hey Peter, I've got one of those 1980 fairings that I doubt I'll ever fit to my Jota, and I'm not as far away as Peder. It's a bit rough around the edges but would be an simple job to patch it up. I have the indicators for it, but there's no windscreen and the mounting hardware is incomplete.

I don't have much of a clue as to value, but Peder seems to know the market for Laverda stuff. His price of 400 Euro ($630 Aus) for a complete one sounds reasonable, so I guess mine must be worth around $400 (Aus).

I offered it to Boba a few years ago so he could tidy it up and take a mould off it. He was keen, but then he had his health issues and we never followed it up. I dunno if he's still looking for a 1980 Jota fairing to add to his repertoire of Laverda moulds. If you want a carbon fibre version, that might be the way to go.

Cheers,
Cam

Hi: Dellortomann.
It's OK, it's a free market. I know very well that the robe is not so coveted.. But the turnlight is rare.

Peder.

Marty, the 80 fairing bracket is similar but different to th 81bracket. On the 80 bracket the top plate is angled back . If you look at Cam’s photos you will see by the angle of the dash why it is angled. A rea pain in the arse to fit because of that🙁

One in the middle is spare 1981, one on the left is ????
Hi Marty
I've just bought a 1981 120 deg Jota, with a fairing that wasn't fitted, I have managed to source all the brackets apart from the one in your picture (I don't know if it's the middle one or the one on the right, that is correct for my model). The shaft/rubber bush that comes out of the headstock has a 32mm diameter, if it is correct I'd be interested in buying it.

Thanks

Mike

Gidday Mike, probably easier to get one in the UK, postage would be crazy and take for ever. Plus the fact current sydney lockdown can't even get to the post office! Put a wanted ad up and see what's in the northern hemisphere

Hi Marty

Thanks, Yes I'll put an advert on this site.
I've tried with the ILOC forum site and no luck with the main bracket but did manage to get the headstock bracket and rubber mounted bush and the 2 brackets that support the rear of the fairing from a good guy in France, I went to the UK AGM but no luck their.
The bike has been converted to look more like a 1980 Jota with no fairing, so it's not stopping me riding it.
No luck on eBay but I'll keep looking(y)

All the Best
