Jota head light

Hi all I am new to the forum but had bikes since I was 16 and now very old 😁 I have just bought a 1980 jota and am very pleased with it but there are a few small issues I need to fix one of them being the head light reflector the silver has come off in a few patches. So if anyone has one they would sell me or point me in the right direction to buy one that would be most appreciated. Kind regards Bryan.
 
 
If original is important then look were pf1 suggested.

I replaced my original with the one below. Currently AUD $115. supplied by a company in sth aust.
I don't know were he sources them from. China??
The defuser had come lose / busted, the cost of replacement was over the top back then.
Replaced the head light on my Duc with a similar product.
In both cases the originals will go with the bikes when it is time.
This works well takes a H4 globe.
The average punter wouldn't know the difference.

$115 for the whole unit, or just the mirror part?
 
That $400 from Gowys was just for the reflector and the glass. BTW, I just discovered a year ago that my bike, for the last 40 years, has the wrong-handed headlight glass fitted. Mine is for a right-hand-drive country.
 
That's what my Dad used to say 60 years ago. For some reason, he thought it was hilarious. I had heard about handing off headlight glass but had no idea what that looked like till someone here edumicated me. Seems mine is designed to work on right-hand-drive roads.
 
I had to take a new SF3 through the rego place in Perth - basic roadworthy - guy was all done and signing off on it when a colleague - who this person clearly did NOT like - told him the headlight glass was for RH drive and was thus illegal. he was told bluntly right in front of me that he was not the one doing the inspection and to basically 'go fuk yourself'. The interloper was of course dead right (no pun intended) but my inspector didn't like being inspectorsplained at.

They were obviously stricter, in Oz.
Mine came with a LHD dip lens, as delivered in the UK in '76.
Finally got around to changing it after about forty years. Up until then, I just blacked out the dip segment, to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic. never had a problem with MOTs, like that.

Ashford are expensive but you get what you pay for and they are excellent.
For a money saving tip get a quote on line from them via their website and then take the part to them, they are always willing 'to discuss'. When you go there ask for Bishop 👍

It's weird, Hamish - does the reflector reverse the beam direction? I would have thought the problem was shining too high up the right in a LH drive country like yours and ours? Your blackout tape looks like it would block light to the left side of the road, away from oncoming traffic. There's obviously a logical explication.
