Jota hump/solo seat.

Hi all, anyone know of an original jump seat available for a 78 Jota? I have the original dual seat on it now (rebuilt by Eldorado) but fancy trying the solo setup.

Have to agree, Tom - the hump isn't quite what a hump should be ... doesn't look 'racy' and doesn't serve as a single seat and can't accept pillions. The double looks nicely coordinated. Just my idiot opinion ...

I made an SFC replica seat for my 3c and was surprised how racy having a bum stop made the bike feel. An added bonus is it reduces the need to grip the bars at speed, that a good thing.

Has anyone seen one of the new replacement seats from Laverda Paradies? If so what’s the quality like?

It's not ideal, I use both my dual seat with lots of padding for long trips and this seat for more local sporty rides. It's just impracticable to do both and have a cut-down rear guard. They look much better with a bobbed rear guard and solo seat. I think Andy Wagner does these seats for triples but he is in Hippy mod for a few months.

It's a very subjective thing. That's for sure.
