Hi All,

I seem to recall that once upon a time, mild steel Jota mufflers were listed as available from a shop in Oz on this thread. I can't seem to find the thread though. Does anyone know if there's someone making them? I emailed Wolfgang, and he says the Italian shop he used closed down last year.

They made SF "copies" back in the '70s. I bought a pair and found they had a full baffle in them, strangled the motor.
Don't think they listed triples.
Tranzac in Brisbane say they can make to orders, maybe someone can get them to check out if they can make some.

when did you last speak to them Tippie, I thought they had closed up

In Paynies days!!
Just saw their website and emailed them but the email address invalid.
Bummer, I like my Tranzac mufflers but they need replacing.

Yep, back in the late '70s I got a set of Conti replicas from Paynie for my '77 Bonneville. They worked very well.
Today, I called the Tranzac number and spoke with Mick Ricketts, so he's still operating. Apparently, his family bought the business from Paynie in 1989.
Back in the day, I don't recall Tranzac doing any Jota pipes.
